We were all so blessed by these t-shirts and the beautiful art and Jesus's parable of His precious kingdom. Thank you, Darrin! — Ally, Maine

The parable

The Parable of the Sower

One of the few parables Jesus explained himself. The four soils, what he said each one meant, and three things the story is usually made to say that it does not.

Product details

The Sower Christian Hoodie

The The Sower engraving printed on a heavy-blend hoodie — double-lined hood, front pouch, and enough weight to be the thing you actually reach for.

Drawn from The Parable of the Sower — Matthew 13:3-9 — and printed to order on a blank chosen for how it wears, not how cheaply it prints.

The Parable Behind the Design

A sower goes out to sow. Seed falls on the path and the birds take it; on rocky ground where it springs up fast and burns off; among thorns that choke it; and on good soil, where it yields far more than was put in.

The sower does not sort the ground first. He scatters, and the ground does what ground does.

Matthew 13:3-9 is the parable Jesus explains, and the one he says unlocks the rest. It is about what receives the word as much as what is sown — and it ends not in warning but in a harvest thirty, sixty, a hundred times over.

Scatter it everywhere.

The One That Gets Worn Out

The double-lined hood is the detail worth paying attention to: it holds its shape instead of collapsing flat after a few washes, which is what separates a hoodie you keep from one you replace.

The pouch pocket and ribbed waistband do the rest. This is the everyday layer — the one that ends up on the back of a chair rather than in a drawer.

The engraving works the four soils across the field — the hard path, the stones, the thorns, and the standing grain — with the sower mid-stride, arm still out.
